The Perfect Driving Glove!!
How many times have I wished for these, driving in the hot blazing sun! Thrilled to find them, finally. Size is true. I'm a 7 1/2 & they're a perfect fit. Very well made! Love that the fabric isn't thin as I expected it to be. Also expected them to not give me sound gripping ability for driving but no problem at all! Bought putty. Nice color. These are a staple from now in. Will probably get another pair to work in outside.

Best fingerless gloves
I prefer these over all other brands because they allow a firm grip on the steering wheel, bear spray or whatever else you are carrying; items will not slip out of your hand as they will with fabric fingerless gloves. Helpful hint to make them last: Do not remove by fingertips, but peel cuff back from wrist and then turn them right side out--pulling them off at the fingers will wear them out faster. Worth the money, my old pair lasted years.

Love it!
These are great fingerless gloves. It covers a good amount of your fingers before they cut off. I ordered the XXS for my hands that measure 6.5" -- so many brands out there forget about smaller hands. Not Sun Precautions. These gloves fit perfectly and are the best on the market. I am a dog walker and love them.

Ive purchased many pairs of these
I've shopped around to try to find a less expensive alternative but cannot. I purchased my first pair in 2004 so I wouldn't have to keep applying sunscreen to my hands and have never looked back. I usually purchase a new pair every year. I typically wear these when I drive. I use the ones that are more worn for things like yard work. The palms typically wear out first so you'll still have the protection on the backs of your hands. One thing I would recommend is, if possible, sizing down. They tend to stretch a bit with use, so dont worry if they seem too tight at first. I will continue to buy.

Decent Fingerless Gloves
I have been using these gloves for about three months and have found them to be pretty decent fingerless gloves. Most importantly they do their job! When wearing them I get zero sunburns, and when I forget to put them on I get sunburns on the top of my hands. I have washed them a few times, and worn them a lot in the rain while hiking, and they have shrunk just a smidgen amount. I bought a large thinking they would fit pretty well (based on their guidelines for fit) and probably should have gone with an x-large - they are starting to get hard to take off. But beyond the sizing issue, these fingerless gloves are performing perfectly and beyond meeting my expectations. I have also used the Handguards (#31300) a fair amount, but found I like these fingerless gloves a bit better as they have less of a fiddle factor to them. I have not yet tried the full finger gloves, not sure I will as these fingerless gloves are performing good enough.

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
