I love this shell...
I love this shell but unfortunately this is being phased out. It will be available in a similar style but different fabric. I have a white currently and wanted a black but it is out of stock in my size. The new version will be more expensive so if you ever wanted to try this one, now is the time. I am getting mine in blue today. For me it is perfect in every way. Excellent workmanship and love the high neck line to protect my neck in the broiling heat where I live. Love the back zip and wash and wearability too.

Oddly cut shell top
I like the fabric, the color (periwinkle), and the quality of this shell. But the sizing is off. I normally wear a 10, so I got the small. It fits in the bust and the waist, but the armholes ride slightly high and so does the neckline so that it is slightly uncomfortable. If I got a bigger size to make the armholes and neckline more comfortable, I fear it would be balloony in my midsection. Since shipping is so expensive, I can't take the risk of trying it. I would very much like to have such a shell if they would make one with bigger armholes and a lower cut neckline it would be perfect for wearing under my Solumbra tunic or big shirt.

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
