Favorite summer pants
I have been wearing this style for nearly 20 years. I live in these pants from May through September. The slacks are perfect for our hot, humid summers as well as great slacks for traveling as they dry quickly. My only complaint is with sizing: some fit perfectly; others are too snug through the abdomen when sitting.

Love these pants
I am a mature woman, like some of the other reviewers, but I am larger in the hip area, and these fit perfectly. The legs are roomy but sleek, so they look good all day. The waist is comfortable I especially like that I can dress them up for a luncheon or go to the gym. They are very light weight, perfect for Florida

My go-to summer pants
I have 3 pairs of these and they are my preferred summer pants. Cool enough for humid heat, yet can look nice enough for work with a versatile shirt or jacket and top.

Not cut for mature women
Overall, the fit of this pant is excellent except there is not enough ease in the tummy area and the fabric is not stretchy. If you've had babies, and your tummy never quite "recovered" you will find these pants a bit tight fitting across the tummy area. I'd suggest going up a size to allow for a bit of comfort. The hips and inseam fit fine and the pants are flattering. Of note these pants fabric remind of parachute material. The material does protect you from the sun and is cool to wear. Recommend with caveats given.

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
