Love this Cover-up!
This is a very nice cover-up. It is comfortable and seems to be very well made. The fabric is soft, smooth, and breathable. I definitely would recommend this product.

Very Useful Item
I'm a big fair haired, fair skinned swede girl, 50 plus, 5'9" broad shoulders I ordered the M but it was voluminous with the shoulder seams 1.5 inches off the shoulder. The small fits perfectly with plenty of room. LOVE the long sleeves covering the backs of the hands.

Take It Everywhere!
I travel a lot and never leave home without this jacket! It is roomy and long and perfect to cover up entirely on the beach. The material is so wonderfully thin - I put my hat on over the hood and am protected completely while in a swim suit, walking the beach. This jacket can be rolled up to nothing and stuffed in a backpack, purse or beach-bag and brought out whenever needed. I never use it as part of an out-fit, just as a must-have when I'm caught in the sun. The zip pockets are a perfect sports feature for not loosing items, and large enough to be very functional, not just stylish. Also, I just lent it to a friend for an African Safari and she is going to now buy one of her own.

Aussie buyers take note
This cover up is made in very large sizes. I am an Australian size 12, but the medium cover up is a size 14-16 by our standards. Way too big - fits me like a lab coat. I'm not sure what I will be able to do with it, even if I try to put darts in, the front pockets might make that look silly. Since we are paying 150% of the quoted price due to postage and handling, perhaps you could set up another site for Aussies with better sizing guidance? I'm sure there is a market for it since we have some of the highest skin cancer rates in the world. Also raspberry is a misnomer. That word would imply a deeper berry red, but this cover up is just hot pink. This purchase has been a disappointing and costly mistake.

I have two cover-ups, one in sea breeze and one in rasberry. One is at least ten years old, and they both look great. They are worn at the beach and bike riding and kayaking. The zippered pockets safely hold a cellphone/money/key; the sleeves cover half the hands where pre-cancerous spots are forever being frozen; it's cool and skin saving in the tropics; the hood protects the neck and head when hats aren't enough. They are worn alone or with capris. . Fantastic!

White is VERY transparent...
Ordered XL in White.It is tight in the shoulders (I am 5' 10" and thin) and is VERY TRANSPARENT. I tried it on over a light gray shirt and it looks quite tacky. One can see the pockets and seams of entire jacket. I put my wallet and phone in the pocket..and I looked like a walking x-ray. Will return and may try a darker color. However, white would have been perfect for the beach or boat. :(

This jacket is so comfortable and classy on. It can be worn any wear. I love the Peri Blue. It is such a pretty blue! I just wish I would have found your company year's ago. I have Lupus and could not go out in the sun at all. With this jacket and a pair of your Woman's Style Body Shade Yoga Pants I can once again enjoy being outside with my grandkids, family and good friends and can actually have fun again. I could never find the words to explain how much your clothing has changed my life. Thank you so much for actually caring about your product! I hope you will consider making this jacket in black, navy and dark grays and please, please make both your jackets and tops in PETITE sizes. I was very impressed with the help I received from your staff in picking out the right material and colors that would work for my issues.. I never knew I needed to wear dark colors and not white's,. this was quite surprised to me. Your staff was vey knowledgable and enjoyable to work with. I can't wait to start buying more of your 100+ clothing. They are pricy so it will take me longer to get what I need. I am also so glad that you make the material and do the sewing in the USA that is so important to me and is the reason,I believe, that is why is is all good, Again. Perfection!
The Women's Beach Cover-Up is so excellent that I am back online to buy more. This cover-up jacket looks incredibly classy and I wear it everywhere almost every day. It's cool in hot weather and perfect to ward off a chill in a movie theater as well. I have one in the delightful raspberry color and another one in the classic stone color. I love that this garment is made in the USA and I especially love the flattering design. I feel confident that not only does it look great on, it offers the necessary 100+ SPF protection. I just noticed Sun Precautions is out of size small and many other sizes, too. Please get them back in stock soon (in all colors) so I can buy a couple more! Thanks!

How to Measure

Most Solumbra clothing is oversized.
It is designed with generous proportions to give you freedom to move around. There's no need to order larger sizes. Exceptions are noted in product copy.
Inseam:
Measurement from inside crotch seam to bottom of hem.
Unisex Tall Sizing:
Unisex tall shirts are sized for customers over 6'4" and have sleeve length measurements from center back of M 36"; L 381/2"; XL and 2XL 391/2".
Women's Tall Sizing:
Women's tall pants have a 34" inseam.
Women's Petite Sizing:
Petite garments are sized for customers up to 5'3".
Hats:
Measure around your head with measuring tape above your eyebrows and ears.
Gloves:
Measure around hand across the knuckles (exclude thumb). The number of inches determines glove size. If you are right-handed, measure your right hand and vice versa. People with extra long fingers, or who would like a looser fit should consider ordering a size up.
Shade Sleeves:
Sizing for this garment is based on your Solumbra shirt size.
