Could we do it? Could we actually design a ventilated cap that still provides maximum sun protection? You bet we could. Our UV Shade Cap features an ingenious two-pronged approach. The back 2/3 of the cap is mesh, allowing air to reach the scalp. The mesh cap is covered with a Solumbra fabric drape that attaches to the front panel with hook-and-loop making the size of ventilation inlets adjustable.
