You’ve come to rely on our Solumbra fabrics providing greater than 30 SPF and blocking more than 97% of both UVA and UVB rays. And you take comfort in the fact that our Solumbra products are engineered to be a safe and effective sun protection solution so doctors can recommend them to even their most sun sensitive patients.
Well, I'm pleased to report even more reasons to feel great about Solumbra.
It’s been a long time coming—in fact, just about 17 years—but we now offer women some exciting new ways to enjoy Solumbra. It is now available in tropics-inspired prints in eye-catching colors. These prints mix and match with other Solumbra favorites to create an ensemble of head-to-toe Solumbra.
The prints are applied to our basic Solumbra fabrics after they’re made, so the UV protection that's built—not applied as a treatment or coating—into our Solumbra fabric is already there and ready to protect you. And almost all of our Solumbra products are built in our own factory here in Seattle.
Additionally, our design team has been busy adding more Solumbra items for women to wear on vacation or at the pool and beach (or just about anywhere). Either before or after a swim or relaxing in a lounge chair reading a book, you can wear one of our new Solumbra tops, pants and hats. Or choose one of our time-tested Solumbra favorites.
